Hiring or Buying a Birthing Pool

The choice of whether to hire a birthing pool or buy one of our inflatable birth pool in a box depends on your personal preferences. All our products have been tested time and time again by mothers and midwives, and water babies. Your budget, whether you want to give birth at home or in hospital, whether you are looking for a back up pool or the main pool, are all factors that will affect your decision.Waterbirth Birthing Pool

Keep in mind:

  • Hiring a pool costs between £150 and £200 for a 4 to 5 week period. Your hired pool usually will come with a set of filling and emptying accessories.
  • Both birth pool in a box Regular and Mini have been designed as a result of a long consultation process with mothers and midwives with experience of water birth. Their patented characteristics make it an ideal portable solution in case you want to have a back-up if you are having your water birth in hospital, or, some say, a less "medical" alternative to the rigid pools for hire.
