The birth pool in a box was a fantastic shape and size, I am 5ft 10 and still found that it was deep enough for me to kneel and strong enough for me to lean on the sides.
I cannot explain how fantastic the pain relief was from using the pool, I was begging for gas and air but found that once I got in the pool I did not need anything at all!
As a midwife and now a mother I would highly recommend this pool for anyone planning a waterbirth.

I purchased a birth pool last month and I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that I thought the
birth pool in a box was fantastic!
Our little boy Louis arrived safe and sound on the 18 January following
a water birth using the
birth pool in a box It was absolutely amazing to have a
water birth and I found the whole experience extremely positive. I
didn't actually use the pool until I was in the last stages of labour -
but for the 40 minutes or so that I did use it for made the absolute
world of difference.
The contractions were still intense (no getting away from that I'm
afraid) - but the ease in which I was able to manoeuvre myself into
different positions gave me some very welcome relief! The firm sides of
the pool were great to lean over - and it was fantastic to be able to
get so close to my husband without the need for him to get into the
pool himself.
My husband was responsible for inflating, filling and emptying (a job I
didn't envy!) the pool and found the instructions and information you
provided very easy to follow and most importantly of all - stress-free!
I will be recommending your
birth pool in a box to every expectant mum I know! Thanks for helping make my experience so wonderful.
Karen Henry: Using Water during Pregnancy
We set up the pool without any problems following your instructions. It
took 2 of us exactly 15 minutes but that included drinking a cup of tea
at the same time. We then went onto fill the pool to give us an idea on
proportion of hot/cold water as we don't have mixer taps in the kitchen.
Once filled I could not resist so in I got - lights dimmed, glass of
fruit juice in one hand, TV remote in the other. Bliss!!! There I
stayed for two hours.
Result... I have just had the first full night's sleep I have had in
weeks. Baby is in back to back position so I have been plagued with
back ache for weeks now making it impossible to sleep for more than an
hour or so at a time. I was asleep by midnight and never stirred until
6.30am.

Julia Duncan: A Birth Experience
This was our third waterbirth, and my husband found the pool easy and
quick to set up. The sides gave plenty of support and felt solid and
safe. The padded base was a bonus as after my last birth I had terribly
sore knees!
This is the best of the 3 pools we have used. Thank you for your
friendly and attentive service, it all contributed to an excellent (if
very painful!) birth experience which we will hold in our memories for
many years.

I must tell you (as a Father who has had to put up 2 solid hire pools previously, that your pool is absolutely the easiest and quickest I have ever used. One always forgets the disassembly but in this case that too was a dream. The ability to use the air pump to deflate and flat pack the pool made life a whole lot easier and was very welcome after a hectic few hours. This in turn leaves more time to enjoy what one should be enjoying at such a time.

Finally I've found time to put fingers to keys as promised! Oskar is
now nearly a month old and sleep is a distant memory for Jenny and me,
though I hope the light at the end of the tunnel isn't another train
coming.

November, also please thank your wife for graciously having her
Saturday disturbed. Being able to use the pool really helped Jenny,
even though events transpired to prevent Oskar arriving sub-aqua.
Jenny reports that the feeling of weight being taken off her was
incredible and she was able to relax sufficiently between contractions
to doze.
The inaugural field-test [of your new Regular pool] was a complete
success - Jenny felt more secure in it than the [first-generation]
Deluxe pool, due to it being significantly more substantial. The ease
of inflation and deflation was incredible compared to the Deluxe.

Hi I just wanted to drop you an email to say a big thank you for your
prompt service and the quality of your birthing pools. Without this
company offering affordable birthing pools my dream to have my fourth
and last baby in a pool would not have come true. They are easy to
inflate and great to use. It really helped me to cope, meaning I only
had to have gas and air for the last 10 minutes. I recommend this
product to anyone thinking of having a water birth at home.

Caitlin was born a few days later and it was just a wonderful birth
