Returns Policy

effective from 15th September 2009

We want to support you in your birth choice and recognise that things do not always turn out in the way you hope. Our refund policy is designed to minimise your costs and risks while at the same time encouraging you take the steps of a dry run with your pool before 38 weeks as this is proven to increase your chances of a successful home water birth.

All returns listed which are received after the statutory 14 day cooling off period will be subject to a restocking fee of £5 regardless of the quantity of items returned.

Products Unopened and Unused, i.e. in re-saleable condition
All items that are returned in their original condition and packaging (undamaged) and resalable will be refundable at their full resale value, provided they are returned within 90 days of receipt.

Products Opened but Not Used with Water or Worn/damaged
Our Warranty requires you to do a practice set-up of your pool before 38 weeks of pregnancy. We recognize that you might then not use your pool for labour and birth in case of complications, e.g. baby turning breech. Therefore we have created a "Lower our Risk" programme under which you can get a 50% refund on all products that have been opened and handled but not filled with water, dirty or worn.

All pool returns must include the disposable liner to qualify for this refund. Our standard returns restocking fee of £5 also applies after the statutory 14 day cooling off period.

All products received will be thoroughly checked before we confirm that we will accept them as meeting the eligibility requirements. Items not meeting the criteria will not be refunded or returned to you though you are welcome collect them from us. All such items will be held for 30 days and disposed of after this period.
