With over 4 years of experience helping mothers give birth in water, we have put together different packages to suit your specific needs and circumstances. Find out more about the design of birth pool in a box.

Step 1: Choose Your birth pool in a box
Choose your size: birth pool in a box Regular and Mini
Everyone is different. So is your home: both available space and the type of hot water system you have can make a difference in your choice of pool. The pools will inflate in 10 to 45 minutes. Fill time will depend on your water system.
We recommend the Regular birth pool in a box if:
- you are over 5'6" (167cm) and want more freedom of movement
- your partner would like the option to get in the pool with you
- your available floor space is more than 3 x 2.7 metres
- your hot water system is on-demand or your tank refills quickly
- you want the seat to relax on and bond with your baby after the birth
Consider the Mini birth pool in a box if some or all of these are not true. Both pools are 26" (66cm) deep internally when fully inflated. For more information, see the detailed specification of both the Regular and Mini birth pool in a box.
You can also choose to buy the Professional pool - designed for 20 uses - if you wish to have all your children in a pool at home, or just want the very best pool available. More...

Step 2: Choose Your Optional Birthing Kit
Our Optional Birthing Kits have been designed to help you organise your birth and are packed with accessories to help you fill or empty your birthing pool. Following feedback from many mothers, we are not providing two different optional kits. The Basic Kit include the basic necessities to help you fill your birth pool in a box while the Standard Kit contains additional items to help you fill and empty the pool quicker after the birth. Review the contents of the Basic and Standard birth pool in a box kits here.
Step 3: Choose Your Optional Extras
Choose from the extras listed below any that you think you might find useful for peace of mind or to enhance your natural birth experience:
- Additional liner. Buy an additional liner if you want to do a full practice or have a pool for late-pregnancy relaxation and back-ache relief. It is not possible to clean and dry the liner with 100% confidence for re-use and re-using one voids the warranty. Cost £25.00.
- Electric Inflate-Deflate Pump. This takes the exercise out of setting up the pool and reduces inflation time from 15 to 45 minutes to 8 to 10 minutes. Cost £12.95.
- Manual Inflate-Deflate Handpump. This is powerful and sturdy. Great for inflatable beach equipment too. Cost £8.00.
- Fitted Heat Cover. Secured onto the handles, this reduces heat loss from water during filling or waiting for established labour. Cost £20.00.
- Home Birth Hypnotherapy CD. For late pregnancy, this is designed to help you prepare for your home birth. From market leaders Natal Hypnotherapy. Cost £11.99. Also available: Relaxing Birth Music - cost £11.99.
